Johanna Hume | Trainer
Originally introduced to horses at a young age, Johanna spent her junior years riding and competing in both California and overseas in Germany. She found her passion very quickly in the Hunter/Jumper ring and has been hooked ever since. Once she aged out of the juniors, she spent 2 years breaking in and training Thoroughbreds for the track. In 2010 she stopped breaking Thoroughbreds and focused solely on schooling horses and training kids and adults for the show ring. Her students have excelled in all three rings and many have brought on their own young horses while showing. They learn the proper seat and hand, are forgiving riders, slow to anger and are always dedicated to the well being of their horses. Her riders have been extremely successful on both the rated and local show circuits. Her greatest passion is watching horses whether that be competing or enjoying a relaxing trail ride. She has a large string of lesson horses and teaches riders of all levels and ages.
